Display options are missing due to incorrect hardware or software settings.
Cause:
Hardware or software is incorrectly configured.
Solution:
Change 'Display Type' in the 'Settings' tab sheet by opening 'Control Panel' and selecting 'Display'.
NOTE: The solution for this problem could be third-party hardware and/or software configurations. The following is only a possible solution.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Change...' in the 'Adapter Type' group. (The 'Select Device' dialog box appears.)
7) Do one of the following:
a) Select a compatible driver from the list:
1] Select the 'Show Compatible Devices' radio button.
2] Select a device from the 'Models' list.
b) Install a manufacturer-supplied display driver:
1] Click 'Have Disk...' . (The 'Install from disk' dialog box appears.)
2] Do one of the following:
a] Type the letter of the disk drive containing the manufacturer's driver.
b] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
1} Select the drive containing the driver from the 'Drives' drop-down list box.
2} If necessary, double-click the folder(s) containing the driver in the 'Folder' list box.
3} Select the driver in the 'File name' list box.
4} Click 'OK'.
3] Click 'OK'.
8) Click 'OK'.
9) Click 'Close'.
10) Click 'Apply'.
NOTE: In order for the change to take effect, you must restart the computer.
11) Click 'Yes'.
